Crisis Response Team and Plan Development
If a crisis were to occur today, would your school, community or organization be ready? Being prepared to effectively manage a crisis requires the development of a detailed crisis response plan. To develop your team and plan, CTRI will guide your group through a detailed development process. This initial plan usually requires one day to develop, and will go through the following phases:
Phase 1 - Determine who Will be on the Crisis Response Team
Phase 2 - Create a Definition of Crisis
Phase 3 - Determine the Goals/Mission of the Team
Phase 4 - Review Tasks of the Team
Phase 5 - Assign Roles
Phase 6 - Establish how Team Members Will be Informed if There is a Crisis
Phase 7 - Distribute Information to Relevant Parties
CTRI will distribute a concise report of the work done and decisions made during the meeting.
It is recommended that those who participate in the development of the crisis response plan first take the training Crisis Response Planning.
Additional Option:
Some agencies and organizations desire additional support in developing concrete written documents. If this is desired, CTRI will develop at 40-50 page Crisis Response Plan for your specific setting.
